Do you show your number on your profile hun, I have thought about doing this, but not sure if to or not, due to timewasters and a lot of people just wanting your number - I know a few girls a have stopped putting their number on AW as they were getting abuse!

No disrespect hun, but how I have worked so far has been fine lol - I am busy nearly everyday without putting my number up lol - I was asking as sometimes im glued to the laptop but then im flitting inbetween different websites anyway!

The reason for asking was to see how many people do get abuse and nasty texts - it has happened to a few escort girls i know on aw

It even makes a difference if your number isnt listed for a couple of days I am only doing limited services for a few days bloody cystitis so decided not to bother listing my number and honestly my phone has hardly rang compared to what it normally does

I can't say a phone number would be the be all and end all for me personally. However if i was asked to email and did not get a fairly quick response i would not bother again so i suppose it requires a wg to be regularly onlone or using a Blackberry or the like.

I agree hun - I am usually pretty quick with emails anyway lol - you should know how i work

I usually have the laptop running and the adultwork notifier on as well as my email notifier - I usually get people whom havent got any feedback to book through AW, then as you know I confirm all details via email including my mobile no, i only call or text confirmation over if asked to do so!
(If they already have positive escort feedback then i will usually text them or they can text me! Simples =) )

After the first booking as long as it has gone ahead, I then just ask text me when you want to book again! or PM me which ever is easier!

I also have email access through both mobiles as they are Smart phones!

AW was a lot easier with bookings awhile ago - I usued to get text bookings which you paid for, AW have stopped this due to ofcom! =( bummer =(

Like everything in life, different things work for different people.

I work and die by my phone, it is just the way it works for me, however, I have never had the problems mentioned. personally, I do not feel the need to sit at a computer taking email bookings etc when the guys can just call me and turn up.

To not use the phone would mean that you gave out details to punters via email and did not get to meet them, personally, I would rather speak to a guy before taking the booking, rather than relying on emails.

If after the email and booking via the web you still have to speak with them on the phone, then I would not see the point to that, they may as well just call in the first place. I never call clients or text them to confirm a booking for an in call, only if I am visiting them But as above, we all work in different ways, there is no right or wrong way. Although some clients sometimes think so.

I know a girl that has now retired who never spoke to anybody on the phone, it worked for her.

I havent had the problems metioned hun, others have - as i dont put my number up!
Secondly I dont "sit" at my computer all the time lol - I leave it running yes as i have mail notification!
I also have my manager sorting my mails etc...

No sorry hunni Porn and Modelling work are completely different to Escorting - To work in the porn industry you need certs for 1 thing - secondly the money is more! sometimes quite a lot more!!

Also in the porn/modelling world escorting is stigmatised - dont ask me why as the way I look at it, its still two people (or more) having sex lol
If you go on any modelling or porn sites and mention "escorting" the posts are removed and usually you would get kicked off the site!

Porn/modelling is seen as more "professional" a lot of pornstars including myself do do escorting, but it just dosnt get talked about!
