Be it retail in a high street shop, chance of being abused/murdered by a robber.
Same for working behind a bank desk.
Working behind a bar, when you leave you could get stalked.
Estate agent, viewing an home with a client you could get raped/murdered though its almost unheard of.
Working in an office is probably the only safe job out there, unless theres a psycho working close.

In regards to a place to work from, there are nice apartments which are perfect for working from home so that would save a fortune instead of using another place just for work. Most escorts seem to use another place to work from. If it was me id get an apartment where theres no reason for neighbours to suspect anything, other than maybe the banging of the bed which sometimes you cant do much about.

My ex used to use another place to work from for the same reasons you have, plus the chance of having a stalker. In the end when i was with her she just worked from her home apartment even though it was imo an annoying place with too much potential neighbouring suspicion.

I think you have hit the nail on the head without realising it Tom. We don't all live in the same situation. Some of us live in small towns where it's not see easy to be anonymous, some of us have family that live with us and have to work around them and live with the knowledge they could walk in on you or pay for the privacy?

There is more risk. Those other jobs you are rarely alone or at least someone knows where you are and what you are doing. Escorts live a very discrete life where only a couple of people at most may know what they are doing and not everyone has the opportunity for a buddy where they can get help and even that is not fool proof.

You are offering a stranger into your home.

I know some estate agents have been murdered, but who is the most high risk, even going back to the days of Jack the Ripper? Of course it is a dangerous job. I wonder how many women have been beaten up while working and never took it to the police, because of how it happened and besides, they don't know anything about the person who did it, so what evidence do they have?

I know of one girl who got beat up and I expect most Escorts will know of someone. I couldn't say that about any other job I have been in.
