Apologies for the bump....

LatexTrooper, being the avid latex fan and domme myself I'll see to it that I get some more pictures of myself and subby up on AW, if not by the end of this week then by the end of next week for sure!

But until then you could check out my profile free gallery if you like: RubberMistressAna

(I#ll start contributing to this forum properly soon, I promise!)

Yes, need a few Dommes to spice the place up. I wonder if we can engage any Doms?

I don't think the Dom thing works on a site really dedicated to escorts. Usually 2 very different sets of guys. I did a shoot a long time ago for realpunting, Jay told me that he did one shoot with a Dom and it was the least viewed video on the site by a long way, said he would never bother doing another.

You're right, domination would be a struggle to meet your bread and butter needs on a site dedicated to escorts - but adultwork isn't dedicated to escorts and I happen to be living comfortably from my earnings there. Maybe Jay that you mentioned tried the 'Dom thing' and found that it didn't work for him because the vast majority of his consumers were going to his profile for a different type of content.

It's all about knowing your target market and making sure you're advertising in the right place to find the right customers.

I mean, you wouldn't try selling fur coats on a vegan forum and expect to retire with a new found wealth any time soon. But that's the beauty of adultwork, it covers a great wide multitude of likes so anyone really does have the chance to do well there, so long as they aren't doing anything against AW rules or sickeningly illegal.

May I ask, you dominant ppl, do you offer services on informed consent too? I know there is a bit of a difference of opinion generally between Doms/subs and Escorts, so wondered if that was why you preferred to use AW or do you use both?

Personally I can't stand informed consent, the layout of the website is a nightmare to navigate and it gives me a pounding headache trying to figure out one area from the next. If it was better laid out I'd probably use it, but in the past I've signed up for accounts to give it a try - spent five minutes of frustration trying to get around then left again.

I know on IC there can sometimes be huge battles of people being uppity about ProDommes/Masters, claiming that we don't give a fig about the lifestyle - we're just in it for the money - we're not 'REAL' dominants etc if we aren't doing what we do for free. Which, is bloody absurd if you ask me. Sure there are super shit dommes out there who know not a farking thing about BDSM and the ramifications which can and do arise - actresses with fluffy cuffs trying to tap into a 'market' they don't understand nor care about really. But Prodommes/masters who are also 'lifestylers' are tarred with the same sh*t covered brush. It's an argument I can never be bothered with in such forums because to those nay sayers, the way I see it is like this:

If your car needs attention you go to a mechanic, if your teeth need attention you go to a dentist, if your heating breaks down you call and engineer - but to approach those people and ask for their skills and services, to tell them what you need and that you expect it for free then cry 'you're not a real mechanic/dentist/engineer if you won't do this just for the love of it!' is pretty trite IMO. Prodommes owe strangers nothing, just like anyone else in their chosen profession owe strangers nothing. It's a never ending bone of contention with some folk

The reason I adore adultwork is because I am in control of the rates I charge for webcam/phone/im - the website doesn't dictate to us what our rates are for such things and this is why I will still be using AW in years to come. Also, AW have the best payout rates I've ever come across in all my years of doing phone/webcam, as well as the blog/gallery/video/marketplace/voicemail and heaps of other features I've yet to find all on a single other site.
