Ok I read and understand all the AW rules, my profile is tame, I think carefully all the time about photos, wording etc.
This last year I have have been threatened with profile removal because a photo broke the adult content rules.
The photo was in lingerie, with nothing showing and no suggestive behaviour. Since then I am overly cautious and even more careful than ever.
This week I made a video, once again all clothed, nothing sexual, put some music my photographer made up himself over the top. This music is composed by him and not copyrighted.
I read the rules carefully and he also has experience with other profiles on AW. I was so scared with all the warnings and just hoped I'd got it right.
It's been rejected because they think the music isn't mine.
I now feel so restricted, and feel I'm only safe either uploading fully clothed photos or putting everything into private gallery. The video doesn't really have the same impact without the music (which was composed specifically for the video), so I'm reluctant to try again.
I don't know what I'm asking, just feel a bit beaten.

Unfortunately they'll automatically pull anything with music in. I've had the same issue when a composer wrote something for me to play in a themed clip and it was taken down and a warning issued too, granted this was a few years back now. But you're not alone there.

I saw the video on Twitter and told the photographer @PhilGPhotos how good it is.
I hope AdultWork's suggestion allows you to use it.

I'm still a bit baffled, this is the response I got from AW;
Hello
Thank you for your email.
Musical tracks must not be used on movies unless you are the author or publisher of said track.
If you have proof please contact us via the Help Centre so we can add you to the copyright list.
Regards
The AdultWork.com Team
The cameraman says he can write something to say he wrote the music, am I right in thinking this won't be enough? What do we need to do?

Hello, I am @PGPhotos (thanks for the comments btw),
I don't understand this either. I have been a DVD producer for over 25 years and I produce my own music for a lot of my work, it's nothing special, but it is composed by me.
I do understand the copyright laws and I do understand that AW have to be very careful with even the slightest of music being played in the back ground, but music that has been composed by someone like myself (and then the copyright signed over to the model I've worked with) not being allowed is a bit of a hindrance. I could produce the videos in silence, but they aren't the same.
I'm hoping to find an answer, since I do offer Boudoir Videos as a service, including full production and music, so I would like to know if they might be rejected.

Hello there and welcome, I've uploaded a silent version. Hopefully will be ok, and it doesn't actually look too bad.

I filmed some shared content with another model and it had music on it. I go mine pulled and hers is still allowed. I had to jump through hoops to get the clip allowed with the music but I did just say the music was copyright free. I had a 2nd clip and just took the music off that as it was such a hassle. They are getting so ridiculous. I could understand if it was across the board but clearly it isnt

Yes I told them that the music is composed by the filmer, and not subject to copyright but they wanted proof I was either writer, or publisher. We'd like a way to do this, my clip has been popular and I'm wanting to do a follow up.
