Good effort and well done, I would not even attempt doing something like that. Can I just say that I think it would look better if you could have the text larger, maybe on two lines, just an idea.
Emily of Halifax Genuine Geordie Gem 07407 I struggle to read the tel no. Sarah <<--- Wears Glasses, blind as a bat ! --->>

Thanks Sarah I thought the same about 2 lines but the site I am using only lets you do one line tried other sites but they might as well have been written in Swahili

Are you using the Escort site to sort it out? If so it is very restrictive. I do love the sparkles and opted to use them myself when I made one, but because they are the same colour as the writing, they do chamaflage the writing somewhat. The size of the writing is much better though and I can now clearly read the number, so definite improvement.
I do have photo shop so if you are ok with 'slow' time I could put something together for you with your own pictures to the right size, but I don't have flash, so no sparkles.

Emily, I do it the cheats way. It's not perfect, I know, as I'm no graphic designer.
I use Powerpoint to get my banner the way I want it - with text etc. Then copy it into Paint, which is a free package and resize it in there and save it as a jpg or png etc. The great thing about having it in Powerpoint is you can continually play with it and have new and different versions. I think you should be able to do it in Photoshop to, but I'm more familiar with Powerpoint. If you're ever up in Geordie land I'll be happy to pass on my limited knowledge!

Good luck Ems. Every time you learn something new is a real achievement! How are you building yours? I used Google sites for mine - it's free software!
