The need/obligation to try to prevent the assailant from repeating the crime was one of my first responses to her, if you knew her you'd understand why I'm not using the word "victim" here. I have suggested something called third party reporting and I've left it to her to make that decision. Nova70 have you noticed that you're reacting to me in the same way many people react to raped people; rejecting the substance of my testimony using a plethora of handy rationalisations? I don't hold it against you, actually I find it very interesting and almost as helpful as everyone else's contributions. It's not easy facing up to this and I welcome the input of anyone who feels inspired or compelled to contribute.
