Not sure they are legal as the police are more lenient.

They have recently changed many laws in the Malaga recently and are trying to cut down on the amount of street girls in the local industrial area.

Brothels in Spain / Europe range from local flats, much the same as we have here to huge hotel / night clubs with up to a 100 girls that will take you up to their room. i recently visited one in Corboba which was fun.

Yes, legal. Most of the local prostitutes work on the side of the roads driving inland where there are areas for cars to pull in to. The police drive past, the girls wearing nothing but bikinis, dancing to music on their walkmans.
The life here in Murcia & alicante region is a lot different to the UK.

There are a couple of clubs near by, looking like a motel, but instead, you meet the girls downstairs & go to a room. Like huge travel lodges. Apart from the massive bill board on the roof, with the model laying with lingerie, you would have thought it was a travel lodge.
