Call me back?

For me it makes it more likely a person will show, and that they are an adult male. Sometimes potential clients have questions which are easier answered in a quick phone call, than 20 texts or 20 emails. It can also be useful in spotting those who are drunk or drugged, and more than a couple of times I have been saved accepting a booking from someone who is well under the influence - which if I hadn't would have been a waste of their time as well as mine, not to mention potentially dangerous. I also have a chance of hearing others in the background and once again by speaking to someone who has been previously texting, I have avoided seeing men who are not 'alone', or are on a wind up(giggles and shouts in the background cannot be heard via text message!).

Sure a text is useful when otherwise engaged, and for those who have read my profile and can commit to a time I will happily do things by text so long as we've spoken in person at some point. I do sometimes drive my car, when I do I can't/won't answer texts. I have tried pulling over into laybys, but then I end up not getting anywhere fast. Once again I'll ask for a phone call which I'll then accept via my handsfree. Sometimes guys ignore that, or start texting "I'll phone you in 5 minutes", then "can I phone you now?", "is it ok to phone you now?" by which time I'm back on the road!

Unfortunately not everyone is as direct as that, and some have lots of questions so I will then either advise they put them into one email, or make a phone call.

Do also be aware sometimes texts can go missing, be accidentally deleted, not delivered for 2 days or not at all - all have happened to me including a text on the day which wasn't delivered for 5 hours. In the meantime I thought he wasn't attending, he thought I wasn't responding so we missed each other.

Text and email are useful, when used properly!
