I knew about the obscene publications act but until now I hadn't realized how damn ludicrous it is :/
I did get a reply from AW as follows:
Thank you for your email.
As per our Terms of Use:
'If you are a member within the United Kingdom who is a producer or
consumer with regards to images or movies, please be aware of the recent
changes in the Obscene Publications Act (OPA) and the Criminal Justice and
Immigration Act (CJIA), which criminalises the possession of 'extreme'
pornography. Guidance is drawn from CPS guidelines, BBFC guidelines and
official guidance notes published along with the CJIA bill as it passed
through Parliament.
If you require more information, please see the latest publication here
http://www.publications.parliament.uk/pa....html#j400.
Explanatory notes can be found here
http://www.publications.parliament.uk/pa...x_link_104.
It is your responsibility as a producer or consumer of content to conform
with the laws of your Country. If in doubt, you should consult independent
legal advice.'
We believe the explanatory notes as above covers your query for future
reference.
Regards
So I'll have a read through both the links provided, see if I can figure out which part of what I've violated and either edit the clips or shoot differently next time. Ufft.
