I find that mildy repulsive and offensive. It usually happens around my birthday in September, so this is ridiculously early and begs of desperation on their part.

You are right Kate, they are desperate for the xmas trade but even September is far to early, never mind small filled eggs will be on the shelves before Christmas comes

It's bad enough the seasons playing games with us weatherwise, without the shops buggering it up as well. Why can't we keep seasonal products to the correct season?
It annoys me when you are in the height of Summer and say you need some flip flops and you can't find any due to the fact the shops have moved on to autumn and it annoys me when you are on a diet in the Winter after xmas and they have cadbury creme eggs all over the place trying to entice you in and the like. I say, let's keep to season veg (or the types we can't get here flown over) and the rest stays in the Country it was grown in.
Plus specialist shops can sell things out of season for holiday makers, but generic shops/supermarkets can stick to in season, so we can enjoy it for what it is.
I wonder if Kate's law would work with this one?

noticed the creme eggs in the shops last year in the 2nd week of december, just shows how much the shops have to rely on xmas & the other seasons
