Separate section for advertisements

As the level of advertisements ( some of us would call it spam!) has increased across the board, could a separate section be put aside where they would be welcome to post and leave the discussion threads clear please?

Yes, sort of. These are the type I had in mind as they aren't posts for discussion or feedback, just promotion only.
