Payoneer
#1
Hi Girls

Beware if you are using Payoneer only because I have lost £47.00 due to the Pound dropping! I think it might have something to do with Trump winning the elections! so the conversion rate is up and down at the minute.

I also find it a faff withdrawing the money out and then having to make a special trip to the bank to pay in the funds.

I have a paypal card machine and it charges 2.75% on each transaction you charge your card with, it can be expensive but I do recommend you to get one just for lower amounts of money that can't be withdrawn. It is better to have it transferred into your bank account rather than sitting in your payoneer account esp if you don't use it regularly. It takes about 2 hours or less for the funds to reach your bank account! that is if you use the card machine regularly!

Payoneer card charge is £1.60/ $2.00 for a standard load to card,
immediate load is £4.01/$5.00 for funds within 2 hours.
Add carpark fee, mine is £1.20

So if I was to go and withdraw my funds I would get charged for the card load standard £1.60 then, car parking £1.20 = £2.80

If you don't have a paypal/card machine you can still get one, zettle is another good card machine. No monthly set ups.

Worth considering that anyone using the above method with a paypal card reader, who isn't registered self employed and fully disclosed would be absolutely caught up for money laundering as well as tax avoidance if/when they were found out.

i would have thought it applies to all payment methods no? or is there something special about  Paypal Card that doesn't apply to other methods?

HMRC are becoming very skilled at finding people who use PayPal for business purposes but haven't registered with HMRC as self-employed.

Given that HMRC are already targetting the adult entertainment industry I would suggest it's only a matter of time.

Lol Stuart I am already paying tax and have another business so I don't have the problem there! Lots of ebayers who don't pay tax other than escorts. HMRC need escorts details and how will they find that information out via aw?

The trouble with HMRC is they always pick the easy targets.

HMRC can ask AW for your personal details including your national insurance number and UTR (Unique Tax Reference) and your earnings.

Yes it would apply to all payment methods if money leaves AW for method 1 then transferred to method 2, before finally reaching your bank - method 3. The point I was making is to ensure full disclosure at all points to HMRC to prevent an investigation or legal action.

Ah OK thanks,
Is it the same as with Paxum and Payoneer? or is there a difference?
