To be fair, I'm 'British' but have never adapted to English culture per se.
Racist attitudes are vile, whatever their context. And worse still is when folk deliberately seek out people of other nationalities then slate them for their differences.

There is also the chance Pedro may have been trying to over stay his time, although what he is saying does tie in with what others guys have told me.
Having said that, there are many Romanians that get very good reports.
So it is down to making sure you do your homework / research and beware profiles that are new.

The definition of racist is
noun
1.
a person who believes in racism, the doctrine that one's own racial group is superior or that a particular racial group is inferior to the others.
I've never met a Romanian national I didn't get on with. So polar opposite experiences here.

I'm sure Cece made her comments in the context of the thread and not about Romanians in general, we really are only talking about these nomadic groups of con artists who I hesitate to even describe as wgs since they have no intention of providing a decent level of service, the promise of services that won't be delivered the cold/hostile attitude towards the client are tactics anyone of any nationality can use, my first experience of this kind of thing not long after I first started punting was at the hands of an English woman born and bred in Yorkshire, what a nightmare that was, the Romanians we're talking about have simply got it down to a fine art, and btw their probably not all Romanian but just using profiles set up with Romanian documentation, a fair percentage will be from elsewhere .......... Albania, Kosovo, Moldova, Bulgaria etc.
I'm really not bothered I like League One.

OK so Romania has given us dodgy Prossies but what about the nice things that have come from that Country ..............
Nadia Comaneci, the first Gymnast to score a perfect 10 in Olympic competition, in fact she did it seven times in Montreal back in 1976 on her way to taking three gold medals, Nadia is still widely regarded as the greatest Gymnast of all time.
Vlad the Impaler, OK not so nice but the inspiration for Bram Stoker's Dracula and the countless other books and films etc. putting the impaling and the burning people alive stuff to one side Vlad is considered a hero in Romania for his resistance to the advance into Europe of The Ottoman Empire.
Gheorghe Hagi, "The Maradona of the Carpathians" Romania's greatest footballer and one of the most talented of his generation 1980s/1990s, a skillful and intelligent midfielder and one of the few players to have turned out for both Real Madrid and Barcelona, he was also an inspiration for the National team and helped Romania qualify for three consecutive World Cups.
And last but not least ........... I must add sisters to my bucket list -

I've had three really good punts with Romanians, lets not paint them all with the same brush. As one of the girls explained there are Romanians and Romany gypsies and its best to avoid the latter her word not mine. If they have good feedback it minimizes the risk. My biggest concern is that they might be trafficked so generally avoid those with little feedback that never stay in the same place.

Good thinking MacGO we'll blame the Roma and as nobody's turned up to defend them we're on safe ground there, didn't they get blamed for lots of things a while back and it led to something nasty didn't it, what was it now let me think............ oh yes I remember it was this wasn't it.................
