Yes, I have started escorting when I was 42 and I was super busy, just did if for 2 years but had the time of my life. I used to offer a vanilla GFE so you don't have to be super adventurous to find some decent clients.
The most important thing is that you need to set boundaries and stick to it. Only offer what you feel comfortable with and then enjoy yourself, but never ever let you guard down.
And of course I was nervous when I started, the poor guy who had the misfortune to be my first client had to go through 1478 security checks
