If I'd missed the call or rejected it by pressing the wrong number, or just been on another phone call, I would have phoned him myself.
So I think some of the responsbility lies with her.
However if I'd travelled all that way I'd have at least phoned her a second time.
When doing incalls I would talk people in and I made it clear that I needed clients to phone. One guy who was very text and email happy, had already cancelled after lots of messaging previously, phoned to confirm from a withheld which my phone rejects and which is clearly mentioned on my profile. We had an exchange of messages in which I advised on how to release the phone number. Then when we did speak he told me he didn't have credit on his mobile phone. I always explain booking day procedure at the time of booking which includes advising that a mobile call will be necessary. I explained he'd need to phone when in the area so I could give directions to the door, and he said he'd buy some credit on the way. He arrived and text saying he'd not bothered to top up.
Ok I did phone him to then talk him in, which wasn't a problem but it did feel really rude and meant that I felt he just wasn't bothered.
It just wasn't a great start. Perhaps it was better the meet didn't go ahead.
