Magazine writer looking for recently un-retired adult performers
#1
Good afternoon,

I was wandering if you guys could help me. I'm a writer who's trying to put together a feature for a well-known publication on former adult industry performers, who were well established but after a long break from the industry, have decided they'd like a return to part-time career in porn.

I've asked a few producer friends I know, but no one can seem to think of a suitable person who fits the profile! I was wondering if anyone here was, or knew anyone - around 45+ who's now decided to return to porn. I want to do a big piece on just how the industry's changed in their eyes since they've returned. If you could shoot me a message, reply to this thread if you do know anyone I could get in contact with that'd be amazing! Or even just a few names to research

Many thanks

I find it odd how a "journalist" would misspell such an easy word... Its wondering not wandering... Someone who generally works with words as in a writer usually wouldn't make such a neanderthal mistake.. Smile

A fair point - I did write this in the midst of blamming out a dozen other messages on my to-do list, but my message is genuine I assure you. I don't use the site, nor knew if anyone would get back to me regarding my query but thought it as good a place as any to start.

And completely ignored...

WG's are often seen as vulnerable women and the media often "prey" on them to profit for free.

Apologies, didn't intend to ignore the above. I don't make a lot of ££ doing what I do but willing to split 50/50. Sorry, I forgot to mention the person should be U.K-based. Definitely not interested in portraying anyone as vulnerable, nor spinning their character in any way. What I'm really interested in is how the industry's changed, in their eyes: how much cash is paid to performers these days, the type of scenes they tend to do now as compared to earlier in their careers, the type of fan base, that kind of thing. And just how they live their day-to-day lives. Much more of a behind-the-scenes take. It's tough writing a message on here, as really, I'm much more interested in an un-retired performer not making the bulk of their income through escorting. I don't usually cover subjects like this but thought it's be really interesting if only to help highlight some of the myths of the adult industry. It's possible I won't find the type of person I'm looking for on here. What would be great, is if you guys could tell me any other forum-type places for adult entertainers I could look at? Don't want to waste anyone's time but I genuinely know nothing about this industry, as you can probably tell!

I've never retired but have been camming for quite a few years now and could give you an insight into how much the industry has changed etc, but like most ladies in this industry, feel that publicity similar to what you seem to be talking about is one of the biggest killers of the industry. So I think you will have problems finding any experienced ladies willing to talk you unless you were offering retirement money lol.
I'M ON DAILY PAY & I LOVE IT! ASK ME FOR MORE INFO!
