webcam without showing face

Hi everyone,
I'm new to the forum (please be gentle with me lol!)

I've been doing phone chat for years now, and am contemplating about doing webcam. The problem being, I do not wish to show my face as I've read about guys filming sessions and putting them on porn sites etc.
I just wondered if there are any of you that cam without showing your face? and if so do you encounter many problems because of it?

Its very rare for men to film our shows on adultwork but if you are that worried then buy a mask

I quite often don't show my face in freechat which doesn't seem to effect my business, however, I do have a lot of photo's on my profile showing my face and I do show my face in grp/pvt. I tend to move around a lot and use my zoom, so although I seem to show my face a lot, in reality you don't see my face and naughty bits in the same shot very much lol. You can play music in the background, try saying the custy's name a lot during the show, have a board with your camming name on it that can be put behind you so if you do get recorded at least you will be getting free publicity. But tbh in this industry we all understand that being recorded is going to happen sooner or later so we try to make sure we are prepared to deal with it when it happens.

There are some successful camgirls who manage without showing their face, but apart from the obvious turn off to the guys (where's the fun in a headless girl?), it isn't as much fun for you. We use body language and facial expressions all the time to communicate and the judge what the other person is thinking or feeling. A webcam show is a much more fun, sexy, fulfilling experience when both parties can see each other and make eye contact.

Personally I don't show my face in any free material or in free chat, but I do in paid sessions and in certain videos. I have found that this narrows down the amount of followers i get on twitter or the conversions from free to paid webcam chat. It definitely makes a difference but it is a price I am willing to pay for my privacy, it also means the guys who persevere and take a chance are REALLY into me, which makes for yet more good times

There are ways you can minimise your chances of being recorded, or certainly of having that recorded material be of value to anyone, and ways you can disguise yourself from being recognised by people who know you. Get verified and come on over to the private section for lots of useful tips where that is concerned x

Thanks everyone for your replies. I know it's a far better experience for the guys watching to show my face,so I will give it some more thought and hopefully will be accepted into the private area if I can get verified

Try my approach and just keep your face for paid only shows? Perhaps only for those guys who are returning customers. good luck either way x

ive been filmed by a custie on AW and ended up on that hamster site so id say it is wise to be wary of it ... i would never have known if one of my good regs hadnt of told me and gave me the link to the session wat had been filmed ... i did ask the site to remove it and they did .... .. x

Yes, I've read that it does happen which is why I was rather concerned. I did think about perhaps just offering pre booked chat, but I will see.
Can I also go off the original subject a little, by asking when you do your webcam shows, do you start off fully clothed, or just in underwear etc?
I guess every cammer is different but just wondered how most people start their shows?
