WebCam Scam Need help urgently please

Hi I had an account on AW and was contacted by a cam group.

I gave them my account details and the cam was never even setup.

My account was recently removed so I tried to set another account up.

That was also removed after 48hrs.

I had good feedback as an independent escort and was quite happy until I was scammed into this cam group.

I have managed to get my old account back online but it is set to erotic content provider and I cant change it. I presume the group has control of it and my pictures??

Can anybody please help me or advise me on how I can get an independent account set back up on AW.

They have even contacted me wanting money and nothing was ever provided by cam.

I feel stupid but since this happened I have had no business for weeks as not advertising anywhere.

Hi, if the account is still with the old group they still have control over it yes. Whats the group name?/link?

You may try contacting AW and letting them know about your experience and can they set it back to an independent account for you.

I have contacted AW and they said any financial agreement with a group is nothing to do with them.

The said the account belongs to them now and its up to them to release it.

I did not realise that when I was asked to give over my name/password etc

I cant work as I cant setup another account and also the group manager wont release my account.

Is there anyway I can get my original one removed completely even if I lose all my feedback and any credits.

Its almost like slavery as I cant work unless I stay in group and even then my account has been set to erotic content provider only and I cant even change it to escort.

I cant believe they can do this.

I thought AW would have sorted it but not the reply I wanted

Nearly all of the 'groups' on AW are scams unfortunately, set up purely to leech off service providers. Get in contact with your group and request that they remove you and release your profile.

If members wish to employ persons to set up and/or manage their profiles,
we cannot become involved with any financial arrangements you may have had
with that person.

We would therefore ask you contact this person/ Group Manager again direct
with regard to this profile.

As per our Terms of Use:

"Group Profiles - Ownership Rights

Profiles belonging to a Group are the property of the Group Manager. If
members employ persons to set up and/ or allow others to access to their
profiles, we will not become involved with any financial arrangements they
may have had with that person(s).

Should a Group Member wish to leave a Group they must get the Group
Mangager's consent. The Group Manager must contact us to request the
removal of a profile from the Group. If consent is not given by the Group
Manager, then the Group Member profile may (at the request of the Group
Member) be deactivated from further advertisement (with the exception of
those Group Managers in possession of a signed model disclaimer for
digital content, in which case the profile may remain in a content only
format).

In all cases the credit balance of the Group Member remains the property
of the Group Manager."

That is the reply I got.

I have not signed a disclaimer

If they do deactivate my account does that leave me free to set up a new account? I know this means that I will lose my feedback but if that is what it takes then that would be fine.

Hi, its a really crap set of rules but Im sure AW must have legitimate reasons for it all. Although I do hope they somehow update the rules abit.
