Hi Guys

Please can someone help me? I've an escort on AW for two years and i now want to do some camera work. But I can't work out the different between directcam and webcam - sorry for being such an idiot! I've read up on the help section and that only got me more confused.

I was confused by that when I first started too.

Basically DirectCam is.... camming through a platform called JustCamIt.... JCI for short (which you download onto your PC.. via AW I think) and you earn on kind of like a ... Pay As You Go basis.

Webcam is where you offer Skype (or Yahoo) pre-booked webcam bookings.. for a set amount of time and a set amount of credits....

To see it/set it up once logged in go to:

My Profile.. Edit Profile... Profile Details... Webcam...

There you will see:

Pre-booked Webcam

Min. Webcam Duration: ??? minutes (set your own minimum amount of minutes if you want)

Webcam Price: ??? credits per minute (set your credit/price)

Combined Webcam & Phone Chat Price: ??? credits per minute

It will also show:

I will use my own Yahoo address for Yahoo based Webcam Sessions

I will use my own Skype name for Skype based Webcam Sessions

You select which one you want to use.

So basically DirectCam is earn/pay as you go through JustCamIt and Webcam is pre-booked and conducted through something like Skype. The only thing with Skype etc is sometimes you can end up going over the pre-booked time so JustCamIt is better in that way as you earn for the EXACT amount of minutes you are camming.

No one can give you a definitive answer, it differs from person to person. You can offer both at the same time which is what I do, some times direct cam is busy and booked shows are dead other days it switches. Just to add please don't under price yourself, as a newbie you won't need to

You can do both, then log out of directcam if you get a confirmed booking, once finished log back into direct cam

I do exactly the same as Jess I run direct cam and set up to get a text when I have a webcamming booking, I log off direct cam and into Skype do the show then come back on direct cam x
