I agree dont go out and buy the most expensive cam possible
1) if its too powerful for you internet connection you will actually lose service
2) When I chose my Logictech cam and compared the range the only difference between mine and the more expensive models was the quality in megapixels when using your cam to take still photos (which I dont do0. The webcamming qualities did not change.
I got mine cheaper on ebay and paid around £36. I still had to turn off the "right light" setting as it was strangling my cams performance.
I am looking forward to moving in June when I will have fibre optic broadband... ooh exciting lol
