The Paul Raymond “XXXmas Bash” party takes place on Thursday 6th December 2012.

The event is sponsored by Forno TV (www.forno.tv) "Where Porn on TV just got smart" & Your Choice (www.yourchoice).

Festivities are due to take place at a new venue this time around & will be hosted by the world famous & recently refurbished Spearmint Rhino Club, located at 161 Tottenham Court Rd, London W1T 7NN

This is a VIP invite to you, which starts from 6:30PM. There will be a champagne reception, some FREE Corona & light bites. Drinks beyond this will have to be paid for.

From 8:30PM the guest list will open for readers, fans & the general public. But by guest list only.

It’s a networking & party night at a strip club like normal. Where you can mix with your fellow peers and have fun at the same time.

The night will include feature dances from adult stars Brooklyn Blue, Crystal Coxxx, Samantha Bentley & Emma Butt. As well as stage shows & acts including snake charmers, fire eaters etc.

We also have model / singer Ashleigh K and US Rapper Cream who will be performing a few tracks on stage.

I guess she's asking if it's a legitimate party which others may have attended and can vouch for it or give a review of - rather than taking the word of someone she's never heard of before, turning up and being gang pumped.

It's good to have your wits about you - especially when we have so many clients trying to fleece us for freebies.

Kitty afaik the guy is genuine, I've seen his posts before although I couldn't point you in the direction of anyone who's attended or reviews of the party. Maybe someone who has attended could provide some insider info, or the man himself could explain a little more?

Sorry I cannot vouch for the guy or claim to have attended any of the parties, but...

Paul Raymond was a legend in the industry and his empire rolls on well after his passing away, the contact email address is @paulraymond.com which legitimises it to a point. Spearmint Rhino is an adult lap dance club that is a large enough company not to be involved in a scam and can verify the party.

Easy to google.

I would put it as 100% genuine much the same as the Sunday Sport used to do, which were alwasy great fun if you ever attended one and the Erotica after party if you had a stand there. You leave at 4am in the morning completely pissed and having had a great night out.

Unfortunately, due to it being held in a licensed lap dance club you will not be getting "gang pumped" or I may have thought about attending.

I fully understand that people may be skeptical, but be brave and go and enjoy a great night out. If I was 20 years younger...

PS There will be lots of networking to do with legitimate businesses, should you be sober enough to recall the event, but watch out for the "Wannabees" who will also be there.

I'm in London around that time that's why I wondered whether it would be worth going, though I'm sure it would all be very much out of my league I haven't been for a big night out in many years.

I understand that some may have concerns, but please dont.

I am the Group Ad Manager for Paul Raymond Publications and am in charge of arranging and sorting out our events. We still run the Paul Raymond empire and you will still see our magazines on the top shelf including Escort. Mayfair, Club International and Razzle. We have just been bought recently as well by the same owner of Bluebird TV and Loaded magazine. So its all above board. And thank you wife4rent as you pretty much answered all the points for me.

This is our 4th party in 2 years and its not a sex party. Nothing of this nature has or will ever happen. Thats not what the parties are about. As a strip club, there will be dancers on stage etc and they do offer private lap dances. But thats it. Its held at a license strip club like our previous ones (Platinum Lace). Its a general party celebrating christmas and the industry. The first 2 hours are set aside for industry only, so lots of talking and networking happen and after 8:30PM, the general public, readers and fans are allowed in, but by guest list only. It sthe only type of event that actually gets everyone together. As its in a licensed, controlled environment, its perfect for industry peeps to attend. Its a safe and controlled environment for all.

In the past Harmony Films, TVX, Pure XXX, .XXX have all supported and sponsored these events. This time around Your Choice and Forno TV are supporting us. This event is promoted on other forums like (UK Adult Producers, Beer & Bollocks, xBiz, BGAFD, Twitter, Facebook, our magazines and in the Evening Standard.

You can ask anyone that has attended for there feedback and it will be positive. Its a general fun night that promotes the positives of our industry.

So far we have over 200 adult models confirmed attending as well as representatives from Playboy TV, TVX, iPure TV, Basemetal TV, many togs, Corona, Dennis Publishing and many many others. All the newspapers have been invites as well as Nuts, Zoo, Bizarre Magazine, ETO etc.

And just to clarify, it is a Free event, but by guest list only. During 6:30PM - 8:30PM there will be a champagne reception, some free bottles of Corona and food. Drinks etc beyond that will need to be paid for. During the 6:30PM-8:30PM slot, we only allow industry and staff and would like to thank people for coming by giving the champagne etc.
