I can sympathise totally with what you've gone through, I had a girl do this to me, i met her at "her", flat she ushered me in quickly straight to the bedroom, took payment, or more to the point i gave her payment (dont like them to get embarressed having to ask..lol) she went to get a drink and for us and two guys walked in form another room, Fortunatly for me i'm a rather well built bloke, with a history of boxing and weight lifting so i can handle myself, i think they realised i wasn't about to be intimidated by them and that i wasnt leaving with out my money. They tried to tell me she had gone and also took there money!, but then i said fine ile take the laptop which she had left, she came rushing back throwing my money at me screaming in what ever language it was (russian,lithuanian etc, they all sond the same).

I think back now and the outcome could have quite easily been alot worse, they could have had knifes anything and i wouldn't have had a chance, luckily for me i think they were simply scare mungers who got a little more than they bargained for. The girl wasn't an AW member (not that i know of) it was kinda stupid going for "unsolicited advertising" but hey we live and learn.
Hints to keep you safe, or more to the point this is what do.
1) I Always speak to them directly over the phone, if they only accept txts or emails and wont talk then I simply walk away. Some ask to be emailed first and then send a number but if i ring and no one answers, i walk away.
2) Be totally satisfied that what your reading/seeing is true, any little niggles then trust you gut instinct and not your dick..lol.
3) After i've arranged a meeting etc, I always leave the name and address and any contact information i have on a piece of paper in my locker at work (usually only see girls after work) so that way if anything should happen, someone else would find out where i was and who i was seeing. (this then gets destroyed when i next at work).
4) Never have anything of value apart from the money im going to spend, so if they do try to rob anything else, you have nothing.
5) I alway take a bottle of water with me now, not that im paranoid but it saves them having to leave to fetch you a drink, but also a mouth full of water spat in someones face may just buy you enough time to leave. (sorry if that sounds disgusting). (also would like to mention never had to do this either).
