How can we expect clients to respect us if we do not give respect in return.

Herein lies the problem. The fact that we are having this discussion would suggest that I/Freddo wouldn't stand up a provider and you wouldn't stand up a client. That does not necessarily mean we are representative and I am not sure respect does exist across the board.

I would argue that leaving negative feedback for someone under those circumstances would just result in some made up feedback coming back the other way to say that I had changed the booking 12 times or something.

And therein lies the problem with the feedback system. I was royally messed around by an outcall girl twice (one cancellation 5 mins before meeting due to start, one complete no-show which was supposed to be an apology for the first cancellation) so I left negative feedback on non-confirmed bookings. She didn't notice for a few days but when she did, she marked the bookings as completed and left me two proper -1 feedbacks spouting a load of fictional getting even peevish nonsense. So that's my feedback trashed - thanks a bunch.

It taught me a salutary lesson - don't leave feedback.

Something I've discovered purely by chance - the opportunity to leave feedback expires at midnight exactly a month after the day of the booking request booking date / time. So those who choose to leave feedback be at your computer at 23:59 on that night. Then there's no chance of a spiteful response. Suffice to say I wouldn't stoop that low...
