Please forgive me in advance my comment has it as been quickly written. So apologies if my English is off cue along the lines.
Firstly Adamx you have my great sympathy. Thank goodness we aren’t all the same.
For those who believe £3 a minute is expensive, please try and think again. I have worked mainly in education/research. I came on AW when the economic decline first started my research funding was stopped. I had to act quickly. AW was my Knight in Shinnying Armour if you so wish. I assumed it would be easy money, hey I had been married donkeys of years, so come on bring it on.
That illusion was soon in tatters, not only did I have to work hard and damn hard to master my craft. I found I had to research a numerous fantasy’s in order to gain a philosophical understand which would enable me to feel confident enough to converse with Individuals whose alter ego were in a named fantasy/s . (Nothing worse then someone asking a question and you looking like a complete idiot.)
So just using one example, on a personal front here, I have spend two years on the bdsm circuit learning the philosophy, psychology, French Social theory, understanding the techniques, related heath issues and much, much, more. This knowledge has been reinforced in my plays rooms ( pvt/grp) to the point it where it as become second nature.
To me, fantasy play is like education, it is life long, it is dynamic with many dimensions which requires time and attention to refresh constantly my craft.
So, is £3 a lot of money, yes, if you are unfortunate enough to be confronted with a boring cammer. Enough said!! as mentioned above I empathise greatly with you adamx
By contrast, however, for those who are articulate and illustrates their crafts/skills to the latter as it would appear from comments above and yes, they have earned their degrees in the art of sexual pleasure and stimulation. Are we are well worth £3. per min. Damn right we our -))
