It might happen. In Pretty Woman I think she was not really wanting to be a prostitute but was "desperate" to make a living and was happy to give it up. He wanted her to give it up too. So it worked.

I am sure that 99% of women who work as prostitutes / escorts would be happy to give it up. I know I would. As would many men & women that work, would love to retire early, with enough money to live on without worry. but how much is enough?

Ofcourse, its happened to me. I met my current partner through AW, she was working although not entirely happy and i was in a pit of despair.
