Whilst I see no harm in it, I see no use for it. Time wasters very often change their sim card as they use PAYG phones, I would guess abusive clients would do the same.

This would actually be very easy to do but possibly a bit of a faff for the mods to keep on top of, but it's really just a case of how you name the threads.

If you open any forum on here, at the top of the page there are different headings which when clicked will rearrange how the threads are displayed. The default setting is "Last Post" which displays the thread with the most recent post at the top of the page and then the second most recent under that and so on. If you click on "Thread" then it alphabetises all thread titles so all the "A's" appear together followed by the "B's" etc. This also applies to numbers, in fact I think it displays numbers first.

Once the Wankers Section (for want of a better title) is created and you want to report a wanker then title the thread with his phone number and/or location and within the thread you can give any further info about him like name, description, accent, details of why he's a wanker etc. Then if anyone wants to check a phone number they're unsure of they can go to the Wankers Section and click "Thread" and just scroll down to see if there's an entry for that number. If a wanker then starts using a different number a new thread can be started with his new number and a link can be added to his original thread.

We've done something similar in the info sections on another site I'm on and it makes it very user friendly, but can be a bit labour intensive for the mods. But if you're starting from scratch then it should be relatively easy to maintain.

Lol, I didnt realise the ladies didnt have such a section. I thought the gents might have, but that I hadnt been invited to join.

I think it would be a good idea. It works well on another Forum where I am a Mod - we have very few issues and the Mods work isnt too onerous (either that or by the time I get there, the work has been done!!)

don't see a problem with saying when anyone is a wanker, as long as you are telling the TRUTH what can be done? The important thing would be not to abuse any system, after all punters have all sorts of means for leaving feedback (good or bad) and any lady with no feedback who's been around a while, is unlikely to be good, just doesn't publish the bad. Libel is only an issue if untrue! so a report of this phone number called X times and never showed up is verifiable from your phone records and should never be challenged?
Or am I being excessively naive?

No not at all, but it is not just about numbers and wankers, it's about being able to let off a bit of steam without offending people. Sometimes we just need to shout and it's not professional to do that in public. For instance if you work in an office environment, you wouldn't have a rant within ear shot of your boss and expect not to get some kind of reprimand for it. You would do it in the pub with your mates out of ear shot of the ppl that are winding you up. The next day is a clean slate and you move on. We need our own environment for that reason too.

Don't forget that the open forum is also added to twitter, so it doesn't just stay here and it could actually have an impact on work if we let rip in public. It's just not worth the backlash, but we do need an outlet.
