I drive for a living and I have two male colleagues that work along side me. On occasion when an attractive woman is passing or we are passing them one of my colleagues will reach over and beep the horn. I try to cover the horn and stop it but now and again I'm unsuccessful. I hate it when they do it as they know that it embarrasses me. The real question is do any of you ladies actually like the attention given or would it depend on who is giving the attention?

I just think there is a better way of letting women you like them. I prefer to smile and say nice dress or hair or something and just carry on walking. Well if i wasn't to embarrassed to talk to attractive women that is

To be honest, it goes over my head, i presume they are beeping at something else. If a guy rolls his window down and starts shouting things out that can be a bit cringey. If its something obscene i just glare at them and turn away, if its something just cheeky, i'll smile and possibly wave. I think some guys need to reign it in a bit though as it can come across a bit intimidating H x

No I never beep my horn, shout or whistle at a lady in the street it is not something that I would ever do I think we all have a second look at an attractive lady should you walk past her in the street

Ha ha - I learnt the hard way at a very young age!!! I was 19 and off on holiday with a mate and we were down in Dorset. Going through some town (cant remember the name now) on the way to Weymouth, we both saw a great pair of legs, I hooted and we both waved and smiled at the girl. Next thing - Crunch! and I had run into the back of the car in front. What an embarrassment!
Never do it these days, will look but nothing else.
