Dunno about music getting me ready for a date or a punt but the type of music I like to get me going is Dance / trance that sort of thing. Also love rock and pop when the mood dictates.
I used to have to drive 65 miles to work and a nice bit of club trance or dance used to get me going in the morning driving to work.
