How do you start your day?

My little routine consists of reaching down for the lap top.
Checking my messages first, then on for a quick look around the forums.
Flick the telly on to see what is going on in the world that day, and then with any luck a cup of tea is put next to me.
Up I get and the day begins.....

my day has started kind of back to front as its been bookings all through the night

usually its up bottle of orange lucozade
laptop on
cigarette
check my phone
make sure my availability is updated for the day
ring OH
another orange lucozade
shower time ready to go

Eventually hit the shower which by this time I have probably been up for hours

No fixed routine at the moment due to school hols.

Normally I would check lap top
Put the telly on
Take my pill (if I remember)
get dressed
go to the apartment around 8am'ish
Then put the kettle on for a cuppa
Have a shower
Stay in dressing gown until a booking comes through if not pre-booked and get changed in whatever they want and put my make up on.

Routine goes out the window during Summer hols though for various reasons.

It depends on what is happening, but if I have nothing arranged it is generally snore, snore, snore, snore.

let cat in and feed
cup of coffee & let cat out ( I know my place)

online for an hour or two /listening to music/ TV
Hang washing out
Cook lunch for later
light breakfast and leave for work about 05:15

Do you start work really early or do you have a long way to travel?

I start early and finish at 12:30. I care for an elderly family member so it means I get more time to do that, hospital visits Etc, are moved to the afternoon exclusively. And I managed to convince my employer that my job could be more efficiently run with the earlier start, and of course they still have me full time, whereas going part time or leaving would have left them in a bit of a bind.

Get up at about 6am
Wash and shave brush teeth
let cat out
Make coffee
Check AW forum to see who has been on
Drink coffee
Let cat in
Post some interesting things or not as the case may be
Get ready for work
and leave for work at about 8am

It's gotten quite regulated recently with no variation! Also good I have started being able to get up early at 8ish lately.

-get up, turn on laptop
-put kettle on
-feed the little buggers (cats)
-make coffee
-roll and enjoy cigarette and coffee reading book
-check emails and all my usual sites
-shower, shave, tan, whatever needs done
-make myself prettty
-get dressed
