It might just be time for a good clean. Computers don't like heat, so try turning it off and then blow through all the vents with compressed air. (available from camera shop etc)
If that doesn't improve things then freeing up disc space can help matters. Last resort is to backup your personal stuff to an external drive and then reinstall windows from scratch.

Yes I should do that really we have a room for breeding ratsonly a few feet from where i work so does get a bit eh dusty.. lol I'm determined this one lasts longer than a year!!! Dodgy
