@Nova70 - you cant keep saying the same crap and expect it to be right....
You have no reason, apart from your own fantastical imagination, that she wanted him to do anything other than call and speak with her. It really is stupid to start implying that the girl had other intentions when you have no facts (as per usual).
You keep telling us what other girls do etc, do you really think that matter or any of us care what other girls do?
The only right way of making and keeping a booking is the way the girl wants you to do it. If you do not wish to follow her instructions, then expect to be frustrated.
She expected him to call and speak to her at the time he arrived, that is all he had to do. If he called and she was unable to answer the call then he still needed to speak with her, as per her request.
We have no idea if she was worried about him or not. However, he did call her ten minutes before he arrived asking for the room number, despite her asking him to call when he got there.
I can't speak for the girl in question but I know I would think the guy was an idiot and likely to be messing about, so yes it would send a warning signal to anybody who was experienced in dealing with idiots.
He made the first call and she did not answer, only an idiot would not have made a second call? As you say "no drama" so just make the call, how hard can it be?
At the point of the second call should he speak with her and she start messing him about, as you keep suggesting was her intention, he could have chosen not to see her and he would have had a legitimate complaint.
