'Prostitute' or 'Prossie' - What are your feelings about these words...

That's an interesting definition of the difference w4r, thank you. I dislike the term prossie or even prostitute, but that is based on my past experience of the term being derogatory, a put down from males or other women. The women I know who 'escort' sell their time and companionship, and work for themselves, charging higher rates than average, whereas I tend to equate 'prostitute' with street walker, working for a pimp, being cheap etc. I can now also appreciate that some like yourself are almost reclaiming that term, and using it instead to indicate the difference between what you do and DONT offer x
