What kind of laser eye treatment did you have to cost that much? I had both my eyes lasered, must be gettng on for 10 years ago now and it cost me just over a grand. I thought the prices had dropped since then?
We stayed at the Louis Phaethon Beach Hotel in Paphos, was quite a family type of place.

Laser eye cost me £4800 because i went with the best company (apparently):

and they found that my eyes were quite bad, not in vision strength but what they call imperfections in the eye so they advised for me to go with the Plus or Elite option, the Elite had better chance of success and better vision so i went with that, the most costly one.

Also its a lifetime guarantee, so i can go back for free in the future. Many people find that their vision starts to go back to being blurry after at least several years. Ultralase told me to expect it to happen when im about 50 years old, im 30 now.

Ive known 3 people had it done for about £2k a few/several years ago. When i looked at the Ultralase website 1-2 years ago their most expensive treatment, Elite, cost £2.1k i think, now its gone up to £2.4k! i was gutted but thought... fuck it i'll go for it im on loads of money these days.

The funny thing is, when i was in there, id have expected other customers there to be all suits, executive, professional types, but none of them were, they were just normal people casually dressed and everything like myself.

Wow that is a lot of dosh. I had mine as a treat to myself after qualifying a year after getting my Postgrad. I thought I had a job for life, do'h! Anyway, I went to optimax and had a consultation for £60 and the actual treatment cost £1000.

During the consultation I found that I was lucky enough to get one of the top Doctors in laser treatment at the time. He told me his success rate and the means to find out more information about him on the internet. He also told me of two failures, but they had been due to other medical problems that he had not been told about etc. Anyway, the result was 21/21 vision and free after care. I still have perfect vision now. I guess if it started to get wrong I could get it done again and I'd be happy to go back to optimax.

They did tell me that I will likely need reading glasses when I get older, but tha is a natural progression for people with normal eyesight. Were you told that they would rectify that for you too? I mean if the problem changed?
