A while ago, someone posted a very worrying link to a forum where people were advocating the spread of AIDS, and were deliberately having sex with bareback escorts in an attempt to catch it. It made for a very depressing and worrying read.
Even if stds didn't exist, there would still be good reasons to use condoms, either with escorts of in your personal life. Besides a vasectomy, which is obviously a very permanent option, there are no other methods of contraception that a man can use. Not all women want to take pills every day, have injections, or other invasive procedures. Condoms can be annoying, but for some people are preferable compared to the unpleasant side effects that can be caused by other forms of contraception.
