I have to say that Adultwork is MUCH better than the various "adult dating" sites I tried (back when I was still trying to get sex for free). All of those sites suffer from the same basic problem: thousands of men chasing dozens of women. They try hard to disguise that fact. Some use fake profiles, some use old profiles that haven't been active for years (by making it impossible to filter by "last logged in" date), some use fake messages suppossedly sent out from rather bewildered women who then can't understand why random men are "replying" to them.

I rarely view private galleries unless I'm almost certain that I will book that girl. Ironically, there have been a couple of occasions where paying about £1 has convinced me NOT to book (because private pics are often more realistic than the artfully-posed profile pics), thereby saving me £100 or more on a booking with a not-very-attractive escort.
