Dinner Date Rates?

I suppose there are two ways of looking at it. Dinner followed by a bit of fun makes it seem more like a real date. But on the other hand if you going on a dinner date with someone you know you get on with why not. The only issue might be the risk of stepping over boundaries.

I know I would happily pay Kate's rate for the opportunity of a nice meal with fun easygoing conversation, and at that price I would forgo the fun bit - I would be quite nice to know that we could enjoy a bit of cerebral conversation, but knowing that if I/we wanted more there is a cost involved.

Kate's also right that from an economic point of view it's not particularly cost effective to have a cheaper dinner if there are better offers in the wings. On the other hand I suppose from the escort's perspective, and looking at it from a purely commercial point of view, it could be treated as a loss-leader to entice someone who was a bit shy and wanted to sound out the ground as it were before committing himself.

It almost comes back to the other discussion about having a drink with a potential client to sound each other out, but at least with this the escort isn't completely losing out financially.
