I agree with lolo, its never a black or white decision. I immersed myself in my career, I don't think to the detriment of my family. But I did sacrifice any chance of a personal life or family of my own during those years.
However, it did give me the security to downshift and to care for my parents later in life when they needed my help most.
So yes, I have personal regrets, but not for the ability Its given me to support them.
