I had a regular caller- an older man in his late 70s - he would call once a week. then he didnt call for 2-3 wksl - His son called once to tell me his Dad had left instructions to call me, so I would not wait for his calls anymore. when he called - I always told him "oh, so glad you called, was hoping you would" - which was true I enjoyed his calls (was a bit of phonesex and lots of chatting)

I told his son, that his Dad was a special man, very proud of him and loved him very much - which was true. Felt badly as son was a bit freaked out and wanted to just hurry off the phone before his wife found out. made me sad...
