Just logged back into my AW account after being inactive for 20 mins and I got the following message.

You have been brought to this page because it has been brought to our attention that you are in breach of our terms of use or that your conduct on this website is not acceptable or to simply advise you of an important message that has been sent to you via email.

Reminder

Please do not forget that payment for any webcam related activity (bookings, DirectCam, DirectIM) must be paid for, by your clients, using AdultWork.com Credits. This is also true for Phone Chat, DirectChat and any sales or auctions in the Marketplace.

- Any visitor to AdultWork.com who is buying something from you or having a cam/chat session with you, must pay for it via the Site using Credits.

There has been a significant increase in complaints from members reporting that they paid another member via PayPal, Skrill or some other online service, who then failed to fulfil, perform or deliver to their satisfaction. As they paid outside the Site they have no recourse for action.

Accordingly, any member reported for asking for (or accepting offers of) payment outside the AdultWork.com Credits/booking systems will have their membership terminated. Our terms of use make it quite clear that using the Site for payment is a requirement of your membership. Members offering DirectCam must not offer/accept PayPal or accept tips for Skype Shows.

For those members who have been operating their online adult business inline with these conditions, thank you for your honesty and custom. We look forward to the mutual success of AdultWork.com for the benefit and safety of the entire membership.

If you are a Group Manager, please remind your members of this information to avoid problems with their memberships. You are responsible for their conduct.

Has everyone else got this? I knowI've not accepted money outside of AW, wouldn't even know how to, so I'm guessing it's been sent to all members. Just wanting to check in case it's been sent to me incorrectly

Yes I got it too and I have just messaged them because I have never ever accepted payment outside the site. I'm waiting on the reply.

Thanks Mistress-Diane for updating us. And yes Katie, phew. lol

Surely it would have been easier to just send it to those that have accepted money out side of AW and prevent the rest of us panicking unnecessary

I guess its impossible for AW to know who has taken money outside of AW so they have spamed us all!
I have written to them about it and got the same standard reply saying it was sent to everyone.
Would have been nice if they put that in the original message so no one panicked, and also the bit about taking steps to rectify the breach should have been removed as I am sure 95% of us have done nothing wrong so there what can we do to rectify something we haven't done!
Think I'm going to tell them that and you never know, they may think more carefully before sending out a message like that again.
I have even has an email from a customer of mine, saying someone he knows on AW has received this warning and she is really worried as never accepted payment any other way and cant afford to lose her profile.

Yes do tell them. i've always found them very receptive to member's ideas (though i usually send my emails a few times until they quit sending auto, non specific replies ha!) x

Panic over then lol! I had them on my account and my couple account, I was like what the???
I can see there point, maybe a little sentence saying "Everyone is getting this" might have helped.

I love this site! I got the warning and was outraged as I'm very anal (ahem excuse the pun) about following the rules. So glad to read that we all got it phew!

I panicked too and wrote to them, to be fair their reply was really nice and said not to worry and thanks for using AW.
