Just get yourself a cheap vodaphone pay as you go mobile...those Scottish guys in support have no problem understanding what we want and releasing the restriction.

Grrr. I know there was a thread somewhere. I guess nobody ever got it sorted with Three? I have just been on the phone with them for over half an hour, and he reckons it'll be fixed within 72 hours now. We shall see...

I can't ever seem to get it lifted from my orange number. I've been in to the orange shop twice to ask them to lift the block and each time they think they're being smart asking me WHY I want it lifted, y'know, for a giggle. And twice I've stood there with a straight face and said 'because I want to download porn' then watched them scuttle off with a red face.

Silly little boys.

The block is lifted for the internet - I can access any website. But shortcode text messages, I cannot reply to... I'm going to give them the 72 hours (as it would be nice for everything to be working correctly) then I'll ask Admin if he'll be a darling. Wink

I tried for a year to get it lifted, I gave up in the end, so I took a small contract with Vodaphone, one phone call and it was all sorted. I couldn't believe it!

Damn it. Thought that it would all be magically fixed with admin verifying my number for me. But I still can't reply to SMS, although my number is still verified. Still not able to text to shortcode numbers. Bloody 3. Will be leaving when contract up in September.

I am having same problem ... have a vodafone number with 18+ services enabled ...
but every MV code that AW send me does NOT work!!!

Hi, I can verify it but im not sure you will be able to use the service after I do sorry. Needs to ideally be done from your mobile.

What does the text say exactly when it comes in? and what exactly do you put in your reply to it?
