'Prostitute' or 'Prossie' - What are your feelings about these words...
#11
Whats in a name anyway? Sticks and stones ......................................

So long as I'm getting paid then I don't mind what people call me, in fact I actually laugh at people who try to make themselves sound 'more upperclass' by calling themselves an escort or courtesan - that one really makes me kink ............... half of them don't know the 'correct' meaning of the word. Pathetic. Nowt wrong wi being a prossie. Big Grin I'm no better or worse than anyone else, no matter what you call me really. xx

The sticks and stones are very true LL, being of a slightly larger size had a lot of name calling from a young age, titles are just handles

To be honest it doesnt bother me at the end of the day it all comes down to the same meaning.

If I am talking to hubby about the business I actually refer to myself as a hooker always have done maybe some might see this as even worse who knows

I agree - call yourself whatever you feel comfortable with...

Just for me personally - some terms have a negative connotation while others dont. But yes I understand some girls don't have that feeling and just call a spade, a spade.

What do you think?

i am what i am and i dont care who knows it

i dont work from home anymore and i go out of my area to work each weekend if people see what i do as bad thats there problem NOT mine

i wont ever give my job up for a man it pays for my child to go to a good school

people who use the word in a bad way are often narrow minded and stupid so let them use it

i can only be hurt or upset by someone if i choose to let them hurt me xx
