Call me old fashioned but i don't think this sort of stuff is having a big heart (maybe with the exception of the freeview player). i think this is what used to be referred to as being a Gentleman. Shame more of us don't beheave more like that these days.

I was having a conversation with a then regular about books. I used to read alot but struggle with bad headaches (I am self employed because of health problems after an accident) and really no time as i worked all the time. He was book lover and hated the though I wasnt reading any more so sent me an Amazon voucher.. I confess I bought CDs not books but it was a sweet thought i love the Cds lol

In any other situation I would agree with you Hicky, but due to the nature of the job I am not sure the same applies here. For most people it is a moment of escapism where they can get pampered and indulged and doing a spot of DIY,maintenance etc, really does'nt come into it. For me it is over and above the bar for that reason.

I do tend to agree with you the last thing you expect to do when visiting a lady is a bit of work for desert. But a lot of men cannot resist helping a lovely lady
regardless of who they are
