reading a profile

well hello forum. firstly let me take this moment to apologise for my MAJOR lack in communication. Down patch and all that.

So anyway,

When it is obvious a client does not read my profile i'm very inclined to turn them down altogether. I find it inconsiderate and rude. I think my most recent example was a gent asking if i did bareback. When I said absolutely not, he said 'good i wanted to check you weren't a dirty slag- when can we meet?'

to which i told him where to go! But this isn't the only problem I have... I just wondered if any other girls have any solutions to this, as I seem to have a lot of prospective clients who want to book me, before i have to tell them that if they'd just read my profile they needn't have contacted me.

Gents if you have any insight as to what may be the reasons clients overlook the important details i'm all ears too

Do they always overlook what you have written Sophie or are they just asking you something (sometimes the first thing that comes into their head) just to hear you talk and to get some idea about you from that? Plus i recall a thread on another site where loads of men said the bit of the whole process they got most nervous about was the phone call and that as a result they found themselves blathering on.

I can see the point - i spend a fair bit of my time on the phone during the day but never like it as a form of communication.

It's actually mostly through sms. Things such as-

are you available right now?- when it's durng my working week
where are you based, i'd like to come over - when i'm outcall only

Maybe they're not all overlooking the details.

There's been a good example of this on Zoe's site recently. There's a girl down south who does both escorting and webcam. She has stacks of feedback (over 300 I think it is), but the problem is she doesn't do intercourse on escort bookings. Now there's no mention of this on her profile and she's included penetration (protected) in her list of likes, presumably referring to her webcam work although, again, she doesn't state this for certain.

People who are on the various boards know about this because of the reviews and comments made about her but it must happen that guys book her on the strength of her feedback assuming that they're going to get a shag only to find it's not on the menu.

I can see why you girls get pissed off with guys asking questions you've already answered on your profiles but from our point of view it can make the difference between wasting our money or not, and punting is an expensive hobby. I've had to ask questions on occasion before being comfortable making a booking but I try to be as brief and polite as possible. Maybe it's the wording of the enquiry that's important rather than the enquiry itself?

Then again there are also an awful lot of arseholes out there!

I have no problems about confirming what services i do or do not offer, that's understandable and yes gents do want to make sure they are getting what they are after. I even ask a gent before our meet what he specifically wants just in case there is something i don't offer

However I think that writing in words on my profile that i am sms contact only during mon-fri 9-5 as i am at work and that i do not currently have an incall location and therefore do not offer them is clear enough to everyone.
