Say you get £100 per booking for a 1 hour incall. In preparation it takes 2 hours? - to get everything ready, and no more than 30 minutes to clean up after he has gone. So say £30/hour, and a better rate if you see multiple clients per day.

If you worked in retail or public services you'd only have to see 2 clients per week to match that wage lol.

3 maybe 4 clients per week, for 10-15 hours of your time, is the equivalent to most peoples wage for working 40 hours.

Getting checked up every month, buying the odd bit of lingerie, condoms, as well as admin work such as advertising, setting up profiles, dealing with time wasters, handling millions of emails, is nothing compared to going to college/uni for 2+ years, setting up CV's, applying to 100s of jobs.

I suppose im way off.

Im just going off from what i experienced with my ex girlfriend who is an escort. Seeing the lifestyle she had it was such a doddle compared to having a regular job. And she even used to use the gym often, get manicures and full body waxes done at her local salon.. all time consuming things, which is what any well groomed lady does anyway.

Yes you are way off. I've just had to pay nearly 4 grand for my apartment for the next 6 months, I don't have good credit, so had to pay in advance. I don't stay in travelodges when I do tours, but try and get a nice apartment, so you're looking at £90/£100 per night, that is the first hour rate gone, let alone travel expenses and food. I've spent nearly £2 grand kitting out my new apartment (that I do not live in) and I also have to pay £200 on bills for phone, electric, council tax etc.

Condoms,
Wet wipes
shower gel
mouth wash
stockings (very expensive)
tea
coffee
orange juice
Towels (washing expenses)

Seriously I could go on for ever.

I made quite a lot of money in my first month of having an apartment, but tie that in with 2 tours and the expenses for the flat, I still have another month to work to break even. I might actually see some money in June.

I work hard.

I could earn £32 grand a year in my other job, or £150 per day. After tax and national insurance, it works out at around £100 per day, but I have no expenses other than a bit of milleage. Yes I might work more hours for that days work, but it is not half as physical and I get help while I'm doing it. I'm also not taking any risks and no one could potentially beat the crap out of me or worse still, murder me.

You are also restricted by your surroundings. I can't take too many bookings or I would be risking the neighbours noticing what I was doing. It's not worth the risk after such a high investment.

This is one of the reasons why parlour girls are cheaper. They have much less risks involved and there is always someone on hand if they need protection. They don't take their work home with them etc.

In regards to safety, i cant see there being much difference to most other lines of work, and i know most people wouldnt agree with that.

Be it retail in a high street shop, chance of being abused/murdered by a robber.
Same for working behind a bank desk.
Working behind a bar, when you leave you could get stalked.
Estate agent, viewing an home with a client you could get raped/murdered though its almost unheard of.
Working in an office is probably the only safe job out there, unless theres a psycho working close.

In regards to a place to work from, there are nice apartments which are perfect for working from home so that would save a fortune instead of using another place just for work. Most escorts seem to use another place to work from. If it was me id get an apartment where theres no reason for neighbours to suspect anything, other than maybe the banging of the bed which sometimes you cant do much about.

My ex used to use another place to work from for the same reasons you have, plus the chance of having a stalker. In the end when i was with her she just worked from her home apartment even though it was imo an annoying place with too much potential neighbouring suspicion.

I think you have hit the nail on the head without realising it Tom. We don't all live in the same situation. Some of us live in small towns where it's not see easy to be anonymous, some of us have family that live with us and have to work around them and live with the knowledge they could walk in on you or pay for the privacy?

There is more risk. Those other jobs you are rarely alone or at least someone knows where you are and what you are doing. Escorts live a very discrete life where only a couple of people at most may know what they are doing and not everyone has the opportunity for a buddy where they can get help and even that is not fool proof.

You are offering a stranger into your home.

I know some estate agents have been murdered, but who is the most high risk, even going back to the days of Jack the Ripper? Of course it is a dangerous job. I wonder how many women have been beaten up while working and never took it to the police, because of how it happened and besides, they don't know anything about the person who did it, so what evidence do they have?

I know of one girl who got beat up and I expect most Escorts will know of someone. I couldn't say that about any other job I have been in.

i had only been doing this a few months when a client i met regulary when i refused bb sprayed a solution into my eyes, for 3 weeks i didnt know if i would see again, it was actually the receptionist who gave the police is reg plate, he got 10 mth

i actually feel safer in my own house, the only other thing i've had was 2 weeks ago a new client turned up was nervous said to cancel the booking but paid the fee, few moments later he returned asking me if i would take down my aw profile as another escort had actually paid him to beat me up but he couldnt go through with it

No words can come to mind to say what needs to happen to people like that, im just glad that the guy didnt go through with what he agreed to do, but he must be pretty twistesd to accept the agreement in the first place, as for the first guy and the other escort, lets hope that retribution in terms of Karma gets to them.

There is no need for these things to happen, and the fact it can be spoken about is going to help someone somewhere...in the meantime, I hope that they read the forums and realise the hurt they can bring in terms of mentally as well as physically harming the other people.

Man, if i had a girlfriend working from our home and found a client abusing her id make sure he gets buried 9 feet deep in some remote forest. He wouldnt do it again thats for sure.

If only there was more men out there who totally doesnt mind an escort girlfriend.

I'm glad you are ok lolo, both times sound awful to me.

This reminds me that there is also the subject of theft to be addressed. Some guys are opportunists and if they glance your stash they will take it and run and others actually go to a booking thinking they can take an Escorts days earnings, especially when they are on tour. This can lead to physical abuse as well.
