Renting help - littlelilyx - 17-10-2016

So my ex is moving out and we're having to switch over the contract to my name as a result. We had it in his name as he has a vanilla job so it was just less ball ache. My friend who's just got a new full time job is moving in so I assumed it would be easy enough to switch the names over. However the landlord came over to discuss everything and he asked what I did, I said newly self employed(just left my side job) he kept prying though and so I ended up making up some Bullshit about working in art and design (what I used to do so not too much of a lie)

But yeah I don't really know what to do, if I get a guarantor and just pay a couple of months rent in advance do you'll think that'll be alright? How are other cam girls handling this situation?

Just tell him you are a contractor hence why you are self employed, if he asks for a reference then see if you can not find somebody with a company who will be willing to be a reference for you.

If you can prove a steady income and that you are able to pay the bills from what you earn he should nto have a problem with that.

Suggest that the landlord asks your accountant (if you have one) for a reference confirming that you are able to pay the rent.

Any qualified accountant worth their salt will be able to reassure the landlord without revealing the actual source of your income.
