DirectIM has been a flipping nightmare recently. It keeps on randomly kicking clients out. At first it was when ever I type values like £ signs. Then it was when I typed numbers. After that it was when I typed and sent a message that was any longer that about 1 sentence. Now it just does it at random times.
Im going to try formatting my laptop and see if that changes things. Im not sure if it'll work though.

i reset my laptop the other day n it sorted it out but now keeps saying lost connection with server!!!

same here, yesterday was acting up and i lost 5 guys in a row.
