Privacy - lord424 - 24-01-2013

AW deactivated my account for making fake bookings, which I was requested by two escorts, but AW deactivated my account and not theirs. And after that I received this following message from them:
We can see that the emails you
have sent out to numerous escorts today state as the last paragraph:

Can I make a hypothetical booking? Then I can write you a nice feed back
and you can write me one. That way you can increase your rating.

Please do not re-register.
No further emails will be replied to.
Regards
The AdultWork.com Team

Is this not breach of our privacy? I mean the message is meant to be private and not consented to some looking into our messages without our consent. These messages are between two adults and in private manner, so how can AW keep reading our messages?? This is a serious breach of our privacy

Unless... one (or more than one) of the girls you sent this to reported it?

I would.

I think it's a disgusting abuse of the system.

It is hard enough to trust "ratings" as it is without people doing things like this.

I don't think it says anywhere that the mails are private nor that they can't (or won't) look at them. Certainly we, as service providers, are not allowed to put certain things in e-mails... no doubt they have some automated system to spot it if we do. If they received just one complaint then they might well have checked all your mails.

But AW should have also looked at my inbox, BECAUSE two escorts requested me to do this. And AW should also have deactivated those escorts.
Anyways, if I was wrong I got deactivated. But those escorts should also be deactivated.
And to add further, evidence obtained by illegal means is no evidence.
Hope this suffices

I don't think there is anything "illegal" about it.

They give no assurance of privacy.

You are using their systems on their servers and it is in their interests to ensure that the systems are not abused in this way.

We all know that dodgy feedback goes around... and we all know that there are little circles of users who all give one another feedback to create credible looking profiles in order to draw people in and scam them.

This sort of thing gives the site a bad name and I'm glad they caught you.

But it's not your fault, right? It was these two escorts who encouraged you into it... and you just went along with it... and then presumably asked some other escorts if they wanted to do the same thing?

So... you feel aggrieved, right?

Well... now's your chance...

Go on.... name and shame....

RE: Privacy - lord424 - 25-01-2013

And those escorts who agreed, and whose profiles I wrote such feed backs are equally to blame. So likewise their profiles should also be deactivated.
I do not understand that why those escorts who get such feed backs are not deactivated :/

Name them....

Yes that is ILLEGAL, under DATA PROTECTION ACT
Spying is not allowed UNLESS and UNTIL authorized by the state to its PUBLIC AUTHORITIES.
If you come to my home, you are in my house does that means I can spy you in toilet? Just because you are in my toilet?

The two who asked me to make a booking and write them a feed back are:
sapphire_smith
MistressxStarr

And there are about 2 dozen more. You can simply see on whose profile I wrote such feed backs, they are also involved. So deactivate them all Big Grin

RE: Privacy - Trinity-Belle - 25-01-2013

No, because your account has been deactivated, so there's no way to link through.

You need to name them for us here... or as many of them as you can remember, that it.

RE: Privacy - lord424 - 25-01-2013

And why should I tell you their names? You not the admin, you are a member just like me.
