Hi
Perhaps one of the ladies selling items on AW could help. Is drop shipping allowed? I have searched the Help files and cannot find an answer. If it is allowed, do you know if it must be drop shipped from a Uk source, or eg would companies in China be acceptable? Do you make much out of it? - I presume the site takes 30% . Thanks in advance.

I think you would find this difficult as from memory you have to send the items recorded delivery and need the tracking number. Also drop shipping from abroad wont work or be cost effective? Drop shipping is generally done via other wholesalers so your mark up is minimal. I believe on AW you also have to wait 7 days before you get your credits which of AW take 30% of...

The terms of service currently dont have any issue's with Drop Shipping.
I would only recommend it if you are experienced in drop shipping as it has a higher potential to go wrong.
Please also note to your customers where abouts the goods are being shipped from and what sort of delivery time frame they should be expecting. eg if China they may complain that its taking longer than usual but if you pre-inform them they may not be tempted to complain as they will be expecting a longer delivery date.
Try to use a reputable drop shipping company to avoid any problems in service.
Be as open as possible when selling any goods.

Thanks Jem and Admin for your replies and advice. I will do some testing on ebay before I try it on AW!
