Hi there,
I am pretty hurt and confused right now and thought this could be a place to get some advice. Yesterday I found out my girlfriend, who I have been with for 6 months and am very much in love with, is an escort. She is my first relationship and I was already planning on marrying her when I finish my studies and setting up life together. I have been suspicious for a while. She always seems to have lots of cash on her, is aggressively protective of her phone and is always busy at nights, sometimes calling off our plans suddenly with an excuse that she is not feeling good etc. I put two and two together and did some searching and I found her profile on adultwork.
I haven't even contacted her yet, I have some unread messages from her but can't bare to even look at her picture. I feel destroyed. As well as feeling disappointed and betrayed, I worry for her and feel very protective. I just picture this kind of work as being very objectifying. In all honesty, I think I would prefer if she was doing one night stands as then at least there is a mutuality there. Being paid to perform sex acts in my opinion, it's almost as if the man is making the escort his expensive sex toy for an hour. To know that the girl I love is that, is just brutal. I have pretty much made her my life and I am really shook up and need to know if this is something that is possible to live with in a relationship. Do escorts have boyfriends and even husbands? How does the partner cope with that?

Sorry...but what are you talking about? That post that you have linked in NOT me. Don't you think it's possible than there is more than one man who found out his SO is doing this? It seems AdultWork is the biggest advertising thing for this and this is where she advertises, so I found this forum.
