Can't say I am particularly ,although I have used it in the past. Usually Head and shoulders (or beards and 'tache in my case) and scrub round with a nail brush keeps it soft.
Actually, I was going to ask, the beard thing is such a common dislike among ladies, is it a hygiene thing or its a bit too rough.

i have found both, bits of food stuck in it, u cant see the lips etc, the hair on the beard smells also some are very jaggy

Men's general poor hygiene again then. I almost used to gag at some of the things I would hear.
Yellow underpants, skid marks left on the bed and finding toilet paper where the Sun don't shine ARGHHH!
